Vintage Peerless Handcuffs 1912 Pat. With Original Key & Vintage Jay-Pee Belt

Honestly I do not know too much about these kind of things, I won a storage unit auction not too long ago and this was one of the things inside of it. I did test the locking and unlocking mechanisms on the handcuffs and those do work. There is an imprinted number on the handcuffs (serial number?) of 49471. The handcuffs have a lot of markinge on them that are shown in the pictures above. The belt is labeled Jay-Pee I do not see a year or any other markings on it but does seem very vintage and since the handcuffs are marked 1912 I'm assuming it's around the same era.
