One of the most stunning examples of early water decal art we've come across is this extraordinary souvenir from JACKSON HOLE WILDLIFE PARK.
The Wildlife Park opened in 1948 and disappeared in 1958 when it became part of Grand Teton National Park. In its short heyday, the Wildlife Park allowed visitors to view a herd of Elk and Bison and attracted tourists to the area. This decal is one of the few souvenirs that exist from that period, and is offered here in first class condition with slight age-related wear-and-tear, corner bending and edgewear. It is slightly curved at the top and bottom.
Produced in 1949 by American Decalcomania Co, Inc, it is numbered 82659 and measures 3 1/4" wide by 3" tall.
A rare and unique piece of souvenir travel art, it is sure to be the centerpiece of any collection.
