We are selling my moms doll collection. She passed away last month after a long battle with cancer. My father has now been diagnosed with prostate cancer so we are helping him get rid of some things to help fund his treatment. This is a beautiful Ideal Toni doll. The box is marked 1950. It has all of the original accessories and also has he original hang tag that hangs from her wrist. She is in beautiful condition. My mom was given dolls for Christmas and birthdays but my grandmom only let her play with certain ones ( sad I know).
She appears to be in near perfect condition but her hair curler formula seems to have evaporated over time from the bottle. Her sleeves at the shoulders also look a tiny bit discolored from age. My grandmom also put a little baking soda in her doll boxes while in storage to help with moisture so she has a little bit of a haze on her dress in a couple of place from the powder, any doll expert should be able to wash this up easily. Otherwise she has never been played with and her hair is in its original form with only a couple strands astray. See pictures. Smoke and pet free home.
