  • Condition: Adorable, in good vintage condition. Her face coloring is great, hair is good, there is some hair glue that can be seen on the left temple if you move her hair. She stands up well, sits down, and even though she can stand well, her torso and legs are not super strong, but her arms are tight as they should. Still, she can pose well without a stand. She has a crack starting in her shoulder towards her neck. She also has "manicured" hands, which is not an original feature. No major imperfections, those she has are reflected in her price.     Description

    Beautiful 14 inch "Sweet Sue" doll, from 1953.  An American Character doll, adorable and in very good condition for this old. She comes dressed in one of Sweet Sue's original outfits, a white dress with embroidered flowers, and matching bloomers, a straw hat, white socks and cute black shoes. She also brings another one of her dresses (neither dress has a tag, but they are original to Sweet Sue). She has lovely color, sleepy eyes work perfectly, stands well without a stand. She is a walker (when her legs are moved, she moves her head and her eyes).
    She doesn't have factory marks, just writing in her neck that says (9 inch circumference) and a letter A and an C can be defined but I couldn't find any other marking. She has a small crack starting in her arm and towards her neck (see photo). She has no important marks or stains etc. Not sure if her nails are supposed to be painted (probably not!).
