Here is an attractive cloisonne enameled jewelry or trinket box with some areas of slight
moriage
or raised enamel technique.
The elegantly flattened round formed box is worked in the
ginbari
or silver foil ground style.
The box is beautifully decorated with various flower-heads and blossoms worked in bright and colorful enamels.
The interior is lined with a soft, deep red fabric.
The box is in mint vintage condition without any major faults such as chips, hairlines, losses or restoration. The applied decal of the
Ando
trademark is on the center of the bottom base.
The diameter of the box is approximately 3.5 inches
The height of this box is approximately 1.5 inches
Due to the fragile nature of Japanese cloisonné enamels, this item will be double boxed and packed with care.
