was designed around and built utilizing a natural diagonally angled piece of leather with wrinkles, sewn onto the body of the pouch as a flap:  the flap and the body of the pouch were line cut with curved lines that split the whole pouch into 3 fields dyed with three browns:  saddle tan, medium brown, and darker java brown  that echo the natural  lines of the flap.  The saddle tan field on the pouch is enhanced with a row of sunburst tooling highlighted gold, and the decorative scalloped leather concho duplicates this effect which forms the background to a lovely silver tone and brass scalloped bezel with a textured dome centered cross.  The unique closure utilizes a 1” antique brass ring attached to the pouch with a ¾” line carved leather tab and a tan toggle button and brown sturdy shoestring that passes thru the ring as shown and slides to secure the ring as shown.  The folded end  of the shoestring has a saddle tan wooden bead glued in place to keep the toggle from sliding off.

Designed, carved, hand stamped, then dyed and before assembly by the designer/seller, all side seams, the flap seam and the back belt loop are hand sewn with primitive stitch and wrap method, using black waxed braided cord, then reinforced with tough tanner’s bond.
The back belt loop is also riveted on and the entire flap and back of the pouch has been lined with glued on suede look black cloth.
