    These moldavites are 100% authentic, unrestored, and are medium sized (about 1.5cm to 2cm wide) and weigh about 7-9 carats (1.4 to 1.8 grams a piece)

    These fragments come from a notable meteorite strike that took place near southern Germany and the Czech Republic about 15 million years ago.
    Moldavite (also called Bouteille Stone or vltavin) is a natural glass that is believed to have formed in the heat of an asteroid impact. This event occurred approximately 15 million years ago, and a splatter of hot glass formed a strewn field across central Europe.

    2cm to 2.5cm long (20mm to 25mm) long
    and may differ slightly from what is pictured in the photos (i.e. some are rounder, some are flatter).
