    Description

    Presented is a great Japanese cloisonne match holder box from the late 1800s- early 1900s. This piece displays an interested fluted base and rich colored enamel. The lid has a colorful bird with long feathers at its back and a twist in its body. The interior displays a bold blue color and a match strike on the lid.
    This piece is in great overall condition. There are only very minor losses to the enamel on one side of the exterior base. The box will hold a good amount of matches and closes well.
    Measurements: 3 1/4 inches long, 1 7/8 inches wide, and 1 3/8 inches tall with lid
