This is a very pretty marigold carnival glass footed bowl featuring the Victorian pattern "
Five Hearts
" made by the Dugan Glass Company of Indiana, Pennsylvania, circa 1910.
The iridescence is very good, evenly sprayed, and with virtually no rub or wear.
The pattern is very well-articulated.
A really nice bowl and a hard to find bowl.
No chips, cracks, or repairs. There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing tool marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival and opalescent glass.
Each piece of old carnival glass is unique, no two are exactly alike.
