An estate item, found in a jewelry box where it has been for a very long time. From a childhood trip through the Cheyenne area in about 1952. I cannot see any markings as to the metal, but it appears to me to be a copper-plated base metal of some type. Condition is excellent, no glittery “stones” missing, no chipped enamel on the letters, and showing very little actual wear and only a fine patina of age that no modern reproduction could match. When opened out flat, this measures 7 ¼” long not including clasp.
