I just purchased this antique Dugan Glass 5-piece berry bowl set from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The set was produced as part of Dugan's 'Wreathed Cherry" / "Cherry Wreath" line which was in production circa 1911. The set consists of (1) large oval master bowl and (4) smaller oval individual bowls. The pieces are well executed with crisp mold and good definition to the heavily embossed pattern on both the interior and exterior surfaces. The Marigold finish shows rich color and nice iridescence. The master bowl measures 12 ¼" long, 9 5/8" wide and 4 ½" high. The individual bowls are 5 7/8" long, 4 ¼" wide and 2 ¼" high. ALL FIVE pieces are in very good condition with no damage. This striking berry set would make a fine addition to your antique Carnival / Dugan Glass collection.
