    Description

    This is a red lacquered Asian box
    It measures 6" wide x 4 3/4" deep x 1 1/2" high
    It has a lock, but no key
    The inside of the box, and the base are black
    Decorated on the top with a large flower and a bird (N.B. The flower looks brighter on the photo)
    Faint decorations of flowers can be seen around the edge of the box
    Has some lacquer missing, as can be expected, due to age. (see photos)
