BEAUTIFUL! PRE- 1890's ANTIQUE JAPANESE GLOVE BOX IN PORCELAIN, HAND PAINTED

This is a stunning ANTIQUE CHINESE or JAPANESE GLOVE or JEWELRY BOX IN PORCELAIN with glaze on top and sides WITH an unglazed bottom.

This box is highly decorative, HAND PAINTED and intricate.  This lifestyle scene is in deep rich colors and the details are extraordinary.  Typical of the period in which a glazed interior with an unglazed bottom was used.
This is from an estate, so I do not know the age but its' lack of a mark dates it before1890 and the style suggests earlier and is an antique.
There is large detail rose floral depictions on the sides, back and front with yellow and rose-colored birds and deep greens for the leaves.   On each side there are additional rose flowers with butterflies on each side of the rose.  The top has women in beautiful attire fishing with a Pagoda and ladies watching with tiny birds in the distance.  EACH FIGURE, FLOWER AND LEAF ON THE TOP IS IN HIGH RELIEF PAINT AND THE ENTIRE BOX IS HAND PAINTED.  When you press your finger across the box you can feel the high relief caused by the paint. There is gold on the top and the bottom of this box in a detailed painting.  This box has no crackle in the glaze as in some newer glove Boxes.
ALL THE FACTS ABOVE INDICATE AGE MOST LIKELY EARLY PRE- 1890'S.  These were normally not marked and this one is also not marked with the maker.
Stunning box that was used for Ladies gloves, scarves, jewelry, trinkets, etc.  This box measures approximately 7 1/2 inches long X 4 inches wide X 2 3/4 inches tall.
Very good condition with no cracks, scratches.  see pictures.
