Description

This is a lidded box skillfully pieced togther with hundreds  if not thousands of  pieces of various species of wooden and bone parquetry.  The top is nicely fitted in to the base and opens to reveal an interior area large enough to store or hide something precious.  It has a locking front with hinged back .  It opens and closes with ease and the key fits nicely into the hole and locks it securely.
Measures 4 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" deep and  2 1/2" tall (11 x 9 x 6  cm).
