This is Tansu Suzuribako.
This small, exquisite writing box has been passed down through generations in an old Japanese household.
Its subtle, rich wood grain reflects its age, hailing from over a century ago.
While it bears the marks of time with minor imperfections, it also carries the legacy of repairs made by
those who cherished it.
Accompanying this piece is a ceramic brush stand from the Showa period, complete with brushes.
The writing box measures approximately 17cm in height, 13.5cm in width, and 16.5cm in depth.
