Description
Owned by my grandmother who purchased it new.The Dugan Glass Company produced carnival glass until the Dugans left the company and its name was changed to Diamond Glass Company in 1913. Offered here is a "Double Stem Rose" pattern in amethyst. The bowl has a collar base and is quite deep at over 3 inches. The overall height of the bowl is just over 4 inches with a rim diameter of just under 8 inches. The satin iridescence is good very minimal wear to the belly of the bowl. The glass is free of any damage from nicks, chips, flakes, flea bites, etc. There is virtually no wear to the collar base. This is a very fine example of the pattern. This is a great companion to a "Flowers and Frames" bowl, a similar Dugan pattern.
